Pakistan-Afghanistan: A Region in Peril (A Native Perspective)

GPIPD organized a panel discussion, “Pakistan-Afghanistan, a Region in Peril” on July 1, 2009 at the Central Library Auditorium in Arlington, VA. Our distinguished panelists, comprising of Pashtun academicians, scholars, and former diplomats discussed "Af-Pak" strategy, corruption, terrorism, narcotics, culture, IDPs (internally displaced persons), and the Afghan presidential elections from a unique and native perspective that has never been done before.

Our distinguished keynote speaker was Mr. Selig Harrison; his biography can be viewed at http://ciponline.org/asia/staff/asia.htm

The Report of the event is ready but has not been published so far. To get a copy of the report, please contact us on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
